The 9th Couch Stories Show - The Nelson Arts Festival
19 October 2015, The Granary, Founders Park
Theme of the Night: Heavy Petting: Stories about Pet Animals, Pet Projects and Pet Peeves
‘Pet Stories’ included an hilarious true story by Margaret O’Connor about exhuming a cat and a fascinating true story by Hudson Dodd about looking for a grizzly bear. A ‘one size fits all Pet Peeve’ by Dianne Kilpatrick had everyone laughing, while a ‘pet phrase Pet Peeve’ by Jo Ann Firestone had the audience agreeing. Peter Kortegast moved the sold out crowd with his ‘Pet Project’ observation and Pene Greet captured our imagination with her South Pole project.
We’ve only mentioned 6 of the 13 true, personal stories told on the night without pictures or notes – the old fashioned way. Each story is about 6 minutes long.
