Couch Stories Show,  21st of June 2019 at Nelson Centre of Musical Arts

Theme of the Night: HOW WE MET

On 21 June, the shortest day of 2019, nearly 300 people sat in the NCMA Auditorium to listen to true, personal stories told by 10 local men and women. These 10 people made up 5 couples who have been together in years ranging from 10 to 42.

The theme for the night was “How We Met” and the added twist to the show involved allowing the audience, through listening to the stories, to try to match up who was with who.

We couldn't help but notice Co-host Ro Cambridge's shoes!
Despite the topic being a bit on the more serious side, dealing with issues of love and opportunity, commitment and timing, all 10 stories found a way to make us laugh!

We heard a wild and crazy camping trip, a pre-blind date, an ethnic wake up call and a ride on a fishing vessel in the Baltic Sea.

Unfortunately, the stories were not recorded so we’re unable to place them on this site for you to hear.

Want to thank:
John Pinel for the photographs and Josh Bryant for the page design.
